Doug has over 26 years of experience in the financial services industry, having spent over a decade at Merrill Lynch. He is also a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor®, which means that he has completed a program encompassing pre-and post-retirement needs, asset management, estate planning and the entire retirement planning process using models and techniques from real client situations. This professional designation is offered through the College for Financial Planning
He graduated from Quinnipiac University and holds his FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses and his life insurance license.
Doug quickly learned that working with clients was the most rewarding aspect of his job. He loved listening to their personal needs and crafting investment strategies accordingly. This passion is what motivated him to become an independent advisor and he enjoys working closely with families and serving as their fiduciary. Doug and his partner, David Neal, both operate under the same ideology: serve their clients first, last, and always.
When not in the office, Doug enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, traveling, and coaching his son’s soccer team.
